Supporting Early-Career Scientists

The Charles H. Hood Foundation has a long and well-established history of supporting early-career scientists.  Recognizing that these investigators face unique challenges, and that the success of their research endeavors relies on a combination of diverse factors, the Hood Foundation strives to keep abreast of developments in the field and best-practice recommendations from leaders in scientific research funding.  NIH has shared informative data from NIAID regarding their experience with early NIH-funded investigators.  Read an introductory post on NIH’s website here, access the full paper here, and learn more about Hood funding opportunities here.
