Brendon Bula has been a Trustee with the Hood Foundation since 2014. After growing up in Texas, he earned a B.S. in Accountancy with a concentration in Finance from Santa Clara University while competing on the men’s varsity rowing team. Brendon then earned his CPA and spent 6 years in public accounting serving private and publicly traded technology and manufacturing companies, as well as many not-for-profit organizations. After leaving public accounting, Brendon has served in finance and operational leadership roles across many business functions and geographies at Tesla, Volta, and Palantir. Brendon is currently the CFO for Substrate, a company focused on revitalizing advanced semiconductor manufacturing in the United States. The Hood Foundation’s support of its pediatric mission is paramount for Brendon as he raises his own three children with his wife in the San Francisco Bay Area.
