The Charles H. Hood Foundation is now accepting applications for the Child Health Research Awards for the funding period beginning January 2026.
The Foundation’s premiere program, the Child Health Research Awards, are granted twice a year to support early-career investigators in the New England area pursuing cutting-edge pediatric research. By focusing on high-risk, high-reward projects, the program aims to accelerate innovative discoveries that can significantly impact child health and well-being.
Through this program, the Hood Foundation fills critical funding gaps in the medical research landscape—providing the resources researchers need to advance their work, achieve success, and secure future support. Many awardees go on to become leaders in their fields and drive lasting improvements in pediatric care.
