In consideration of the challenges currently being faced by our applicants and institutional partners, we have extended the submission deadline for the next cycle of the Child Health Research Awards Program. Proposals are now due April 10th for funding to begin July 1st, 2020. Hypothesis-driven clinical, basic science, public health, health services research, and epidemiology projects are welcome for consideration.

The Charles H. Hood Foundation is delighted to announce that Camilia (“Cami”) R. Martin, MD, MS, has joined the Foundation as Chief Scientific Officer. In this leadership role, Dr. Martin will steward and advance the Hood Foundation’s child health research portfolio, overseeing pediatric research awards and serving as a strategic scientific partner across initiatives, including the Hood Pediatric Innovation Hub.
