Child Health Awardee Spotlight: William Chang, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. William Chang is one of only five recipients of our highly-competitive July 2019 Child Health Research Awards Program grant funding.  He is an Assistant Professor at Yale School of Medicine, working in the Department of Internal Medicine and the Vascular Biology and Therapeutics Program.  Dr. Chang’s Hood-funded project seeks to improve understanding and ultimately to help design therapies to prevent and treat type I diabetic microvascular disease.
