The Power of Healthy, Positive Relationships to Mitigate the Harms of Childhood Trauma

The Hood Foundation’s Senior Scientific Advisor, Dr. Robert Sege, was recently interviewed by the Boston Globe regarding a study he co-authored on positive childhood experiences and adult mental and relational health.  Their findings suggest sustained, positive relationships with caring adults can help mitigate the harmful effects of childhood trauma.
