Annapurna Poduri, MD, MPH, recipient of a 2016 Hood Child Health award, was honored earlier this month by the Harvard Club at their 2020 Boston’s Most Influential Women Gala. Dr. Poduri is currently Director of the Epilepsy Genetics Program and Poduri Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital and Associate Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. The Charles H. Hood Foundation is delighted to announce that Camilia (“Cami”) R. Martin, MD, MS, has joined the Foundation as Chief Scientific Officer. In this leadership role, Dr. Martin will steward and advance the Hood Foundation’s child health research portfolio, overseeing pediatric research awards and serving as a strategic scientific partner across initiatives, including the Hood Pediatric Innovation Hub.
