It has been quite a year for the Charles H. Hood Foundation! In 2018 the Foundation exceeded $3,000,000 in giving to the field of Child Health, through the combination of Child Health Awards, Major Grants, Bridge Funding, and Program Related Investments. In addition, we have been exploring new ways to engage with our community of stakeholders in pediatric research and innovation. The Charles H. Hood Foundation is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the September 2026 funding cycle of the Child Health Research Awards Program, which supports early-career investigators pursuing innovative research to improve child health.
